JA Data is a company which has been developing windows applications since 1995, originally using Visual Basic as programming language and primarely Access as database, later on other databases were included, MS Sql, MySql and others via ODBC.

All applications was until recently Desktop based applications

but since 2006, the focus has been on web based solutions, and the tools has shifted from Visual Basic to Alpha Five for development. This is an database tool with integrated web development features, as shown on this page development is allowing for a multitude of options, grid's with link to other pages, dialog with check tables behind(dropdown). And many other features.

Any type of application can be developed, and delivery's can be either desktop or web based, or a combination where the web part mainly is for browsing and more complex operation is performed from a desktop application.

We still develop in Visual Basic if required, but first choise is the Alpha Five with the custiomers choise of Sql based backend database.
